This is my honey. She passed on to green green pastures, but I have her in my heart always. And if you are wondering, that is not a photographic glint at the corner of her eye, it is a mark of her being an Appaloosa, and proud of it! She also had small clusters of white hairs on her haunches, her version of Appy spots. And she had stripped hooves if we are going to get technical about her Appyness.
 

We competed in costume classes and dressage classes. And did much better in the costume competitions.

I am also a third generation retail jeweler. My grandfather, Joseph Menczer opened a jewelry store on East Tremont Avenue in the Bronx, New York in the 1930's, and my father James (known as Jesse) continued in the family business. It was where I worked holidays and weekends while growing up. 

And then the internet came along and this website allows me to combine my passions. I have selected each piece in this collection of Horse and Equestrian themed Jewelry thoughtfully. Working with individual artists and jewelers who are also horse lovers! I hope you enjoy the jewelry you find here.
