In small towns and villages in Dalarna in central Sweden, little wooden horses were sold at markets around the 17th century. A hundred years later wooden horses were still being carved by men during long winter evenings and given to children to play with. And so the little wooden horse from Dalarna became a treasured object.

This Dala Horse Ornament is made of resin and stands 2-1/2" at withers or 3-1/2" to tip of ears. Limited quantity,
